About the Artist
I grew up between Connecticut and Baltimore, and now live on the beautiful Eastern Shore.
I am an easily inspired artist who started private lessons at age 5 with Mrs. Alice Waters
of Baltimore. I continued my development with Maryland Institute College of Art and ultimately
with Moore College of Art and Design in Philadelphia.
My schooling helped hone my artistic skills as well as teach me commercial design. I’ve done several
commercial logo designs, including boat logos ready for decal, restaurant menu covers, and general artwork for small businesses.
One of my personal interests is painting “gemstones” which are hand painted river rocks and scallop shells
with eastern shore scenes. Each of these sell for under $20, and come boxed for gift giving. Several of
my larger paintings are viewable in the gallery and most are for sale so please take a look. I am available
for commissioned work. Typically the project is discussed in detail after which I provide an estimation.
